Been here today 25/08/24 Absolutely amazing lovely staff lovely food even gave my dog sausages for free which you don't in alot of places.a little bit more expensive than other chip shops but you get what you pay it was well worth the money. Will be definitely returning .
The quality, value for money, and service were excellent. It's one of the best fish and chip places in the East Midlands. The fish is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place!
Went to George's for a cheeky fish and chips just before closing. Lucus was an absolute gem and provided excellent customer service! Would highly recommend. If you're being served by Lucas, you'll walk out with a smile on your face.
Went in on Sunday 22/9, was served by the sweetest lad ever, said his name was Lucas on the receipt. Hands down one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in this place will definitely be going back next Sunday. Incredibly helpful with the gluten free options too as I was unsure on what to get. Thank you :))))
Nice as always. Good overall but the price of a single battered sausage made up of about 20% meat is silly. Also the batter now is barely a lick and super thin. Need to review the sausage prices as they only cost around 20p and come frozen.
Glad to see the restaurant at George's has re-opened. It was busy so why they had such a long closure is strange. Problem for us it's too far from home for Takeaway, plus sitting in we can make better use of our drive out.

The restaurant is great as well as the take away. Not obvious on the restaurant menu but fish is available steamed which is great healthier option (particularly on some diets) with the salad.
